The food was delicious. The restaurant ambience was beautiful. The service was top tier. I went during happy hour $3 house margaritas and half priced appetizers. The initial reviews were the reason I stayed away. However after reading the reviews people complained about automated gratuity when bill over $50. I saw everything self explanatory. Any dishes listed as market price one should already know it's going to be pricey. So overall please visit for yourself and judge based on your experience

GREAT DRINKS, GREAT FOOD, even better service. The entire place gives you the feeling of a great time and great food. The music, the decor, and the staff. The food is very authentic and there are plenty of options from a variety of food groups. I had the Asada quesadilla, Asada Tacos the table side guacamole. Two thumbs up for 1942 Cantina!
The service was excellent and the food was fresh and delicious! By far the best salsa I've ever had and it was definitely homemade. I ordered the ribeye steak and shrimp dinner. OMG! The mango margarita was on point! The decor was nice with a bar and tv's .. great for watching televised sports. I will be returning! Highly recommend!
